Outreach is excited to invite you to a special workshop by our guest speaker,Cindy Tsay, a Marriage & Family Therapist and Art Therapist. She’ll be sharing practical tools to help us better understand and respond to children’s emotions, whether at home, or in other caregiving roles.

Emotion Coaching is a research-based parenting method developed by the Gottman Institute (www.gottman.com) that teaches children how to regulate their behavior and emotions. It focuses on helping children build the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) they absolutely need to thrive and to be successful in life. Caregivers who practice Emotion Coaching learn to view their child’s emotional moments as opportunities for growth, connection, and the development of pro-social behaviors. This psychoeducational Coaching workshop will be facilitated by Cindy Tsay, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist & a Registered Art Therapist, who specializes in the Gottman method for relational health.
